Description
Human Resources Specialist IA growing organization located in Valley Center, San Diego is seeking a Human Resources Specialist I to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and motivated professional looking to grow their career within Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Support daily HR operations including onboarding, employee records management, and compliance documentation
- Assist with recruiting efforts including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication
- Coordinate new hire paperwork, orientations, and onboarding processes
- Maintain accurate employee files and HR databases while ensuring confidentiality
- Assist employees with questions related to benefits, policies, payroll, and HR procedures
- Support employee engagement initiatives, trainings, and company events
- Prepare reports, track HR metrics, and assist with administrative projects as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Previous administrative or human resources experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Contract to hire role
- Located onsite in Valley Center, San Diego
- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday
- 8:00am-5:00pm PST
- Compensation: $26.00-$30.00 per hour DOE
Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
